PHILADELPHIA, PA – January 24, 2014 – Campus Apartments has completed a portfolio-wide rollout of its proprietary online lease-signing platform Smart.LeaseTM, allowing residents across all its 62 properties to quickly and conveniently complete the application and lease-signing process entirely online in one simple step. This seamless process, specifically designed to address the unique leasing requirements of the student housing industry, can be completed on any mobile device or desktop in less than five minutes for a new lease-signing and in less than two minutes for a lease renewal.

Most notably, Smart.Lease, unlike any other lease-signing software available for the multifamily industry, is customized by property so that residents can select the desired unit type based on the exact floor plans available at the property and the move-in date. The former is a first for the student housing industry and is critical function because it reserves the unit type on a waitlist, which is essential since student housing residents typically sign leases far earlier than any other type of lessee – a full academic year prior to move-in date.
