Heather Sizemore
National Director of Residence Life
Heather R. Sizemore is the National Director of Residence Life for Campus Apartments. She oversees the operation of the "Keystone Program", the company's unique residence life program engaging over 18,000 residents in a well-balanced collegiate experience. Today, Campus Apartments provides residence life programming to students at over 55 colleges and universities through our student housing communities.
The CA Keystone Program is designed to provide social, educational and cultural experiences to all Campus Apartments residents using trained student team members who are the link between our residents and senior management team. The Keystone Program is named after a "keystone", which is the defining element of an organization, the foundation of a strong student housing company.
Heather brings her unique on-campus management experiences along with her private student housing management background to this position. She has extensive experience in the public and private sectors of student housing, and has built lasting relationships with the universities she's served. She is also experienced in all facets of site operations, most notably in creating marketing campaigns and increasing resident retention.
Before joining Campus Apartments, Heather served in multiple capacities for the Department of Housing and Residence Life at the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida, the nation's 6th largest university. Heather helped the UCF campus develop its' unique residence life program that bridged on and off-campus housing facilities into one community. In addition to the traditional on-campus housing facilities, Heather had the opportunity to work for the University in an off-campus housing setting, establishing an Affiliated Housing program where private housing solutions were offered in conjunction with residential life services provided by the university. She participated in one of the largest 501c3 partnerships in the nation with a bed count of 3,756 and a value of $158 million.
Transitioning from the public to private sector, Heather later joined College Park Communities, a unit of GMH Communities Trust, a national REIT focused on college and military housing initiatives. Initially responsible for the residence life program at an off campus university affiliated community, she later held regional leasing and marketing responsibilities for a 19 property portfolio valued at $200 million.
Heather holds a bachelor of science degree in liberal studies, and a master of business administration degree from the University of Central Florida. She is also an active member of the Apartment Association of Greater Orlando.
